This year, the German University Gymnastics Championships will take place in Karlsruhe. 71 teams and 33 individual competitors will take to the apparatus in Karlsruhe on May 19 and 20 to compete against each other. The German University Championships will take place on Friday. On Saturday, the individual finals of the DHM will be held after the competitions of the General German University Championships.

This year's venue is the Institute of Sport and Sports Sciences on the campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. In addition to the competitions, the gymnasts and spectators can also expect a supporting program consisting of various sporting tasks. As every year, many top-class athletes compete at the German University Championships, many of whom also compete at national level. Last year, WG Munich took home the title of German University Champion in both the men's and women's competitions, making them one of the favorites to win the title again this year.

The competitions start on Friday at 12 noon with the first round of the DHM. On Saturday, the first round of the ADH starts at 8 am. The apparatus finals also start on Saturday at 4.15 pm.
