On Saturday, June 24, 2023, the Rugby adh Open will take place in Karlsruhe. After a long corona break of three years, the anticipation for the tournament in Karlsruhe is particularly high. A total of nine men's and seven women's teams from eleven cities in Germany will be taking part.

The university teams have been preparing intensively for the championship in recent months, and the organizers are also in the hot phase of offering the participating teams and all spectators a great rugby event.

In addition to the sporting challenge, the tournament is also an important meeting point for the university sports communities and serves to promote exchange and networking between the individual universities. We offer all teams the opportunity to camp and have breakfast on the tournament grounds. In addition, we make every effort to ensure that the teams are well catered for and that the rugby conditions are as good as possible.

The supporting program will not be neglected either. We expect the teams to arrive on Friday, so they can complete their team runs with us or cool off in the neighboring swimming pool. In the evening, we offer a barbecue dinner as well as various rugby workshops and touch rugby.

After the men's and women's finals on Saturday, we will host the traditional dropkick contest. Those who are not yet exhausted can continue to let off steam on our grounds. After the awards ceremony in the evening, we will celebrate the adh Open Rugby together with players and guests.
