Swimming team from WG Karlsruhe with great performances at DHM in Munich

The German University Swimming Championships took place in Munich from November 22 to 24. The swimming team from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology took part with great anticipation and ambition and put in some impressive performances.
Ludwig Freutsmiedl became university champion in the 200m backstroke in an outstanding time of 02:15.25. Ludwig was also able to impress in other distances: he narrowly missed out on first place in both the 50m and 100m backstroke, finishing in second place. He fought his way to third place in the 100m and 200m butterfly.
Jonas Seutemann shone with an excellent 2nd place in both the 100m breaststroke and the 200m breaststroke. He achieved 3rd place in the 50m breaststroke with an outstanding time of 00:29.73.
Hannah Haake impressed in the 50m backstroke, finishing in 3rd place with a time of 00:31.68.
The 4x100m medley male relay of the KIT team was also convincing and secured 3rd place with a time of 04:07.65. In the team ranking, the KIT team proudly achieved 3rd place out of 77 participating teams with a total of 108 points.
The KIT swimming team was extremely satisfied and is looking forward to the challenges ahead. The swimmers are confident that they will also be able to shine at the university championships in the future.
