The 14th European Universities Rowing Championships will take place in Zagreb from August 28 to 31, 2024. Rowing will take place on the internationally renowned "Lake Jarun" regatta course, where the Karlsruhe university rowing team already celebrated great success at the EUG 2016 with a gold and a bronze medal.

This year, Adrian Mengedoht will be competing in the lightweight single sculls and representing KIT. After winning silver last year in the lightweight double sculls, he is looking forward to the coming days and is looking forward to competing with students from all over Europe in one of the most competitive boat classes over the 2000m competition distance. The individual discipline of the single sculls usually has the largest entry fields at competitions.

In total, more than 400 athletes from over 68 universities from 17 countries are taking part in the 14th European Universities Rowing Championships. This means that Lake Jarun in Zagreb will be a festival of sporting and intercultural exchange over the coming days.
