The German University Table Tennis Championships drew 16 students from Karlsruhe to Hamburg this year, where they took part from May 24 to 26. While the barbecue evening on Friday took place as planned, the players' party on Saturday was canceled, but this did not dampen the mood among the participants. Instead, the players got together for a relaxed get-together. In sporting terms, the tournament offered numerous exciting matches. The competition was particularly strong in the singles, but that didn't stop the players from Karlsruhe from putting in impressive performances.

The men's team achieved an excellent third place with Karl Walter, Gururaj Patil, Mohammad Mahmoud and Louis Vogel. Lisa Klett and Kiara Maurer also showed strong commitment and team spirit, which earned them third place in both the doubles and the team competition. Lisa fought bravely together with Julius Aichert in the mixed competition, but were beaten in the quarter-finals.
