120 people, 700 km, 5 cities: Tour Eucor!

From May 28 to June 1, 2014, the Tour EUCOR will take place.120 students,staff and alumni of the EUCOR universities of Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Basel and Freiburg will cover about 700 kilometers between the EUCOR cities in five days.

The tour is not designed for cycling professionals, but for everyone who enjoys cycling and likes to get to know new cities and people.

To the Tour-EUCOR:

In order to ensure that integration is not only written on paper, but can also be actively lived, the Faculty of Economic Sciences of KIT initiated the tourEUCOR in 1998. During this annual bicycle tour, the five EUCOR cities Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Basel, and Freiburg are visited. The kilometers covered each year are a unifying experience for the participants. Performance-related route and group selection enable the right requirement profile for the leisure cyclist to the cyclist racer. Thus, the tourEUCOR offers the ideal opportunity to look beyond national borders and to get to know members of other universities in a relaxed setting. In addition to accommodation, meals and luggage transport, there will also be an evening social program. The tour is organized by the association tourEUCOR e.V. in close cooperation with the participating universities. Everyone who belongs to one of the EUCOR universities (students, professors, employees ...) can join the tour. Since 2008 there is also a limited number of places for alumni of the EUCOR universities.
