Strong performance by the WG Karlsruhe at the DHM Taekwondo

Seven athletes competed for WG Karlsruhe at the DHM 2024 in Hildburghausen.
Jessica Wolf competed in the women's category -57 kg, category A. As the DHM, category A, serves as a qualifying tournament for the European University Championships and the FISU World University Games, the field of participants was very strong. Jessica prevailed against several national squad athletes and won first place in a thrilling final.
Kaize Zhou competed in the men's category -58 kg, category A. He was defeated in the semi-final and finished in 3rd place.
Anton Kadelbach competed in the men's -68 kg category B and secured 1st place after an exciting final.
Suchakri Kucklick, Adrian Geibel and Simon Seibel competed in the men's -80 kg B category. Adrian Geibel achieved 5th place, Simon Seibel took 3rd place and Suchakri Kucklick secured 2nd place.
In the women's category -57 kg, category B, Ruth Ullrich won with a commanding 2:0 and took 1st place.
Jessica Wolf and Kaize Zhou qualified for the European University Championships 2025 (Combat Games) with their placings. Jessica Wolf also has a good chance of being nominated for the Universiade 2025. We would like to thank the competition management and the judges for organizing the tournament. We would also like to thank the coaches from Armare Mainz and SV Raisting, who coached Jessica and Kaize.
