The German University Championships 2024 Golf took place from September 20 to 22 at the Golfpark Idstein on the south course Gut Henriettental. Four players competed for the KIT: Christian, Jasper, Eckart and Liam, who competed in both the individual and team competitions.

After arriving on Friday, the team was able to explore the course in a practice round. The official welcome and accreditation took place on Saturday morning, immediately before the start of the first round of the tournament.

The weather on both tournament days was almost ideal for a round of golf. With bright sunshine, around 20 degrees and absolutely no wind, the conditions were perfect for the players. The tournament itself consisted of two rounds of 18 holes each, played on Saturday and Sunday.

Individual ranking: Christian finished the tournament in 13th place with 79 and 76 strokes. Jasper finished in 16th place with 81 and 78 strokes, Eckart finished in 21st place with 86 and 81 strokes, and Liam finished in 26th place with 93 and 87 strokes.

Team ranking: In the team ranking, the KIT team took 5th place with a total of 481 strokes (+44.8). We have improved our results compared to last year and are looking forward to attacking even higher next year.
