DHM Golf in Winnerod

The "German University Championships 2019" (DHM) in golf took place this year from 12.07. - 14.07.2019 in the GC Winnerod. We participated with a total of eleven players, these all played each in an individual and a team classification.

Friday (12.07.) we start the DHM weekend with a practice round and at 20:00 the official opening took place in the clubhouse of the golf course.
Saturday (13.07.) we started early in the morning with the first round. Good results were played, all not far from each other in the respective teams. We spent the afternoon together with the other participants on the golf course until the evening events started at 19:00. There was a surprise performance by comedian Tobi Freudenthal before the "Player's Night" opened.

On the last day of the DHM (Sunday, 07/14) we played the second and final round. Our teams (KIT Team 1 and 2) could again make up some strokes and successfully kept their positions among the top 5.
After the final award ceremony in the afternoon, we headed home.


We are very happy that we were not only the team with the most participants, but that we also won a second and a fourth place. Thus we have qualified (like last year) for the EUC.
