Review of the dance gala

On Saturday, August 4, the university sports groups for Oriental dance presented the results of the last two semesters on the Festsaal stage at the SkuZ in front of a large audience.

The program included performances by the beginner and general courses, as well as the "Shaabibis" from the advanced course and the current team of instructors (Clara, Camelia, Mila and Susi). Also represented were our former trainers Oksana, Anna-Lena and Natalie, and the "Purple Clouds", a dance group that emerged from Anja's advanced course. This time we also had the pleasure of a guest appearance by the dancehall group led by Kamilia, who were able to create a full party atmosphere.

Even though we had to sweat the make-up off our bodies several times during the show and the audience also had to struggle with the heat despite fans, ventilators and cool drinks, it was a very nice and varied show.

We would like to thank the SkuZ team and the AKK for the infrastructure and support, as well as all our volunteers at the technology and bar, and of course all the dancers who practiced diligently and sewed costumes despite the exam period :)

We are already looking forward to the next gala!
