Billiard taster course WS11/12

From 21.11.2011 the university sport offers a billiard taster course. There will be 2 courses of 10 dates á 90 minutes each. Mondays 19:00 - 20:30 and 20:30 - 22:00.

Dear sports and billiards enthusiasts,

we are very happy to offer a first billiard taster course from 21.11.2011. It is a "basic course billiards" led by Mr. Frank Nitsche, state certified and licensed trainer C pool.

There will be 2 courses of 10 dates á 90 minutes each. They will take place in the "new hall" on the 1st floor.
Mondays 19:00 - 20:30 clock and 20:30 - 22:00 clock . (exact dates will be announced, except for holidays and festive days).

  • Eye-arm coordination
  • Posture
  • Conditional, coordinative and cognitive aspects
  • Speed
  • Aiming and hitting
  • Basic shots
  • Rules of the game 8-/9-Ball
  • Material
  • Outlook advanced course


Registration:

To register for the course, please send an e-mail with the subject: Billiard Taster Course | Registration: [first name last name], [desired date]* to marc.ringswald∂kit.edu, as well as your address, status (student or employee), matriculation no. (for students). office phone no. (for employees). In case of a possible overbooking, the lottery will decide. You will be informed about your participation by e-mail.
Deadline for registration is 11.11.2011.

*Example: Billiard taster course | Registration: Max Mustermann, 20:30-22:00

There will be no registration for this course via the course booking system, but only via e-mail.


Course fee:

10€ base fee + 40€ per person (10 dates), to be paid in cash at the 1st date.

Course material will be provided by Hochschulsport for the course.


Important: Info meeting on 14.11.2011 at 19:00 in the meeting room 103 of the "new hall", building 40.44.
